FIDELIS Landscape Survey

Over its three-year duration, FIDELIS will set up, develop and operate a European network of trustworthy repositories. In order to address the needs and foster harmonisation across repositories, FIDELIS project also released a landscape survey.

This survey aims to contribute to our understanding of the current needs of repositories in specific areas. The results will inform different parts of the project, guiding efforts in providing harmonisation, training, and support.

How do we define repositories?

Repositories encompass a range of services. For the purpose of this survey, we use the term “repository” to encompass all services that manage research objects (data, software, literature, or other), regardless of whether they are labelled as a repository, archive, e-depot, or anything else.

Other data service providers and registries are also welcome to participate in the survey, though some questions may be less relevant to your organisation, operations, and needs.

Who can participate in this survey?

You will be able to indicate your repository type and primary content type(s) in the survey. While the FIDELIS project primarily focuses on Europe, repositories outside Europe are welcome to participate.
