Pilot Support Offers

FIDELIS is setting up an active training and support programme to strengthen and upskill repositories on their Trustworthy Activities and Functions. This programme will consist of multiple different types of training and support, which are detailed in the Training & Support Area. To test the processes and logistics before the first open call launches in 2026, a pilot round of the Support for the Adoption of Solutions has been organised. Registration for this pilot round was opened exclusively to the provisional members of the FIDELIS Network. They receive expert support on relevant topics and in turn provide their feedback to the FIDELIS support team to help shape the programme for the future open calls.

Three support offers were available for the Network members: Enhancing Repository Transparency and Trustworthiness with TTRAM, tailored CoreTrustSeal support, and developing a FAIR EVA (Evaluator, Validator & Advisor) plugin for their organisation. The first workshops have kicked off this week and the support will run until the end of November.

Each pilot support offer group will produce an Implementation Story to share their experiences in the support and their advice for other repositories looking to improve similar skills. These stories will be published on Zenodo and the FIDELIS website to promote wide knowledge sharing and upskilling. Upcoming open calls for support will be announced through all FIDELIS channels. The first open call for the Support for the Adoption of Solutions will be published in April 2026 - mark your calendars!
