The TTRAM includes 30 ‘areas of focus’ (the activities or functions, A|F) and multiple variables that influence transparency. We propose a tiered approach to capability across all of the activities and functions, framed in terms of degrees of preparedness for transparency of information. Exactly which A|F are considered relevant or a priority will depend on local repository practice and the criteria they are expected to comply with. Similarly, the necessary degree of transparency (from internal to fully public) will depend on the appetite of the repository for sharing and any external assessment requirements.
This webinar introduces the FIDELIS TTRAM approach to capability-maturity and how repositories can use it to identify their current readiness to provide transparent evidence of practice, and to plan for future maturity goals.
We invite you to share comments and thoughts on the proposed capability levels, transparency requirements, and potential use for repository improvement and benchmarking. Your feedback will help shape guidance for trustworthy repositories and support alignment across the European repository landscape!
