2nd EDEN & FIDELIS Bootcamp

16 February 2026 09:00–16:00
Esplanade Zagreb Hotel

Structuring and understanding the activities, functions, and processes of trustworthy digital repositories and archives

The EDEN/FIDELIS Bootcamps align with the support and training mechanisms of both projects to ensure participation of existing and aspiring trustworthy digital repositories (TDRs) and trustworthy digital archives (TDAs) and and ensure the adoption of practices related to trustworthiness and FAIR principles.

The 2nd EDEN/FIDELIS Bootcamp is organised as a co-located workshop of the IDCC2026 Conference - although you do not need to attend IDCC to also attend the Bootcamp, we strongly encourage participation in both! This Bootcamp is entirely free and will have lunch and coffee breaks that will be catered for you!

The goal of this Bootcamp is to expand on what was presented at the 1st Bootcamp and to provide insights and hands-on interactive work around the Core Preservation Processes (CPPs) and the Transparent Trustworthy Repositories Attributes Matrix (TTRAM) and how these align. We will also cover the Expert Curation Network and the FIDELIS Network and how you can get involved. More details on the registration page (see below).

The target audience for this event are any stakeholders that have a direct interest in long-term data preservation and digital repositories. We look forward to receiving input on what EOSC EDEN and FIDELIS can provide to the community in the next phases of the projects.

Please use the IDCC26 event page to directly register and remember that spaces are limited and will be done on a first come, first served basis! Due to the limited number of spaces, a waiting list will open once all spaces are filled. (If you have registered and cannot attend, please do let us know!)

For information on the full IDCC26 workshop programme, check out their website!
