The FIDELIS Strategic Alliance Workshops bring together the organisations, initiatives and communities shaping the future of trustworthy data in Europe. The existence of a network meant to help repositories become and stay trustworthy, that are at the same time FAIR-enabling and interoperable within the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC), is what is needed to bring to make Europe a step further in Open Science. However, no single project can build that network alone.
The Strategic Alliance Workshops aim at finding shared priorities, aligning efforts and turning common goals into concrete collaboration. Topics include trustworthiness frameworks, interoperability and long-term preservation,
The first edition of the Strategic Alliance Workshop explore two key questions identified by FIDELIS Network members: how repositories are built and operated in practice, and how they connect with each other to enable discovery and reuse across disciplines. Projects working on these challenges will share their experience, followed by open discussion with participants. This exclusive event is an opportunity for members to learn from peers, exchange practical insights and help shape the next steps towards European trustworthy repositories.
Whether you represent a repository, an infrastructure, a policy body or a fellow EU-funded project, the Strategic Alliance Workshops are your opportunity to help build a connected, trusted and sustainable repository landscape for European science.
